"Live For" or "Live With"
We as humans love a varitey of things on various levels. We love our family, we love our friends, we love a lover, a spouse, a car, a house, a religion, a job, or a pair of shoes. What we love and how we love shapes our life and the life of those around us.
But what we do in love can reveal if we have love for something (or someone) or if what we love has us. If you consider the creation of man story in Genesis: God who is love incarnate created mankind to "live with"; and mankind found its paradise in the presence of God - "living with". But subtly overtime it seems the love that caused us to "live with" somehow curdled and became a derivative that drives man to "life for".
Living WITH is relationship - Living FOR is service. You don't have to have relationship to serve but a healthy loving relationship produces service. So what will you put first relationship or Service; devotion or duty...do you "live with" or "live for"?
As is most obvious in religion, there is a distinct difference between the love that produces a commitment to "live with" and the thing we call love that burdens us to "live for".
Think about the two for a moment: living for - living with.
Where does your love have you?
Do you "live for" YOUR SUCCESS or do you "live with"?
Do you "live for" YOUR WEALTH or do you "live with"?
Do you "live for" YOUR FAMILY or do you "live with"?
Do you "live for" YOUR FAITH or do you "live with"?
Do you "live for" YOUR AUTHORITY or do you "live with"?
Do you "live for" YOUR CAREER or do you "live with"?
However/Wherever/Whatever you live know if it is something you should be living FOR or WITH?
Love with choice
Love with commitment
Love with passion
